Home for Wayward Spirits: Part 3

So, a bit delayed, but I haven’t abandoned the writing so quickly. While I was out for a walk today, enjoying the dreary, overcast sky, light drizzle of rain, and extremely loud (but beautiful) bird chirping and crickets, I was able to reset my brain a bit from the awfulness of the past couple of weeks of news.

As the rain started to pick up a bit, I ducked onto the porch of the historic late 1700s house that the little park is focused on, and started writing out a conversation the ghost had with the main character. Much of that direct conversation didn’t actually make it into the short story, but it did tell me more about the ghost and what she wanted. So… part 3 is a bit rushed, but leaves the door open for part 4. Let me know if you want to hear more of this story or are ready for something different!
